The NBWN is a non-profit organisation dedicated to raising the status and position of black women in all walks of life.

We provide dynamic initiatives, enabling women from diverse backgrounds and occupations to develop strong professional and social contacts; high quality training and education programmes; leadership and national recognition.

We work to ensure that the contributions and influence of black women are recognised as vital forces within the public and private sector, business, corporate, arts, media and entertainment fields.

The Sickle Cell Society has recently secured funding for a young person’s mentoring scheme in Hackney! We are currently recruiting two mentors and a lead mentor, who will be involved in coordinating the scheme. To apply for these roles you must have Sickle Cell Disorder.
